Rainbow Kitten Surprise

As if channeling another dimension where genres simply don’t exist, Rainbow Kitten Surprise finds harmony in unpredictability – weaving together lyrical poetry, hummable melodies, and a rush of instrumental eccentricities. Now boasting over 2 billion global streams across platforms, the band first began building their devoted fanbase with independent albums SEVEN + MARY(2013) and RKS (2015). The band’s breakout full-length debut for Elektra, HOW TO: FRIEND, LOVE, FREEFALL, arrived in April 2018. Produced by GRAMMY® Award-winner Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Lainey Wilson), the album featured RIAA-certified Platinum single “It’s Called: Freefall,” earned widespread praise from Billboard, TIME, Vice, and NPR who described their sound as “…a mix of jam and indie and whatever else you can throw into the soup…very earnest, beautiful, political, loving rock n’ roll,” and saw the band make several national television appearances, including performances on “CBS Saturday Morning,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and PBS’s “Austin City Limits.” After gracing the bills of Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Osheaga, to name a few, RKS moved 80,000 tickets of their own on the sold-out 2018/2019 Friend, Love, Freefall Tour. That tour was earmarked by a sold-out debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and three consecutive gigs in Athens, GA (the latter of which were chronicled on their first official live album, LIVE FROM ATHENS GEORGIA, released in 2021).  The band released a two-track single Mary (B-Sides) in May 2019 – consisting of “Heart” and “No Vacancy.” The following year brought the release of standalone single “Our Song” – already a fan favorite in their live rotation prior to release – as well as a livestream concert in July, held for thousands of fans on what would’ve been the date of another sold-out Red Rocks performance (cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic). In March 2022, the band released the emotionally charged track “Work Out,” marking their first new music in nearly two years. 2022 also saw the band set out on their first full headline trek in nearly 3 years, a run that included their long-awaited, sold-out, two-night return to Red Rocks. And in 2022 alone, with the help of partners PLUS1 and Propeller, Rainbow Kitten Surprise raised over $170k for food banks in local tour markets, LGBTQ+ causes, and mental health initiatives. Rainbow Kitten Surprise is: Ela Melo (she/her; lead vocals), Darrick “Bozzy” Keller (he/him; guitar, vocals), Ethan Goodpaster (he/him; lead guitar, vocals), Jess Haney (he/him; drums)

Miguel

Over the last decade, Miguel's established himself as one of R&B's most sonic fabulists, a consummate artist unafraid to follow his impulses wherever they lead him. His fourth studio full-length, War & Leisure, is his most ambitious and stunning project yet, a perfect blend of forward-thinking production and melodic delights that more than embody the duality hinted at in the album's title. This is Miguel fusing the two halves of his creative id—the restless experimentalist and the crowd-pleasing hit maker that millions of fans adore—to reach a new peak in artistic achievement. Following the mind-blowing and thoroughly sensual Wildheart in 2015, Miguel conceived War & Leisure's twelve pop gems over the course of the last year and a half—a process that allowed him to find himself amidst the increasing chaos of the modern world. "It's my best way of describing the now," he explains when discussing the album's yin-and-yang title, which reflects the music's focus on the passion and pain of everyday life. "Anything that's in my conscious world, and what's feeding my subconscious—it's all war and leisure." What resulted in these sessions is an album that finds Miguel perfectly blending the skyward pop of 2012's Kaleidoscope Dream and the restless, moody vibes of Wildheart—reflecting the true Miguel experience for both listeners and the album's creator. "On every project, I'm trying to paint a picture for my future self to go back, listen, and remember my experiences and how I was perceiving the world through music," he states on the mercurial meeting point that War & Leisure reaches. "Kaleidoscope Dream and Wildheart are two sides of the same coin, and this is me taking those sounds and applying all the energy I'm feeling most from those two contrasts." And that energy is felt throughout War & Leisure, from the looselimbed funk of "Pineapple Skies" and the atmospheric club vibes of "Skywalker" to the body-moving "Caramelo Duro" and the contemplative ecstasy of "Now." "I like challenging my fans by doing things they wouldn't expect me to do—to show them a little more about myself," Miguel states regarding the album's intentions, and throughout War & Leisure he constantly pushes his music in new directions while delivering on the type of serene R&B that his audience has come to expect. Joining him on this sonic journey is an array of collaborators: a wide array of producers ranging from Jeff Bhasker and Dave Sitek to Salaam Remi and Raphael Saadiq, and vocal contributions from today's best and brightest—including Kali Uchis ("Caramelo Duro"), J. Cole ("Come Through and Chill"), Travi$ Scott ("Skywalker"), and Rick Ross ("Criminal"). The latter's contributions were especially felt on the smooth and dramatic album opener—a pairing that perfectly suits "Criminal"'s playful pleas. "I've always been a fan of his ability to paint pictures," Miguel enthuses about working with Ross for the first time, "and 'Criminal' is about painting the picture that I'm a little bit crazy, so I need someone who's a little bit crazy just like me. We're always searching out for people who can resonate with us on that level, and that helps bring out the best in us—to stay crazy, which is what we need." Elsewhere, the dark and guitar-flecked "City of Angels" finds Miguel straying from romantic concerns to focus on the anxiety and uncertainty many face in the world today—extending past politics and encompassing the threat of conflict. "It's a big question mark, and one of my favorite songs because it deals with a very big and very possible hypothetical: What if we ended up in the middle of a war?," he explains. "It's a real possibility that we're collectively choosing with how we treat the decisions that are put before us. It was a moment for me to be creative and explore my own imagination—taking the 'What if?' question and combining that with whatever emotions I was feeling while watching the world around me. It makes us feel as if we're really 140 characters away from possible war." And exploring such darkness wouldn't be possible without the balance of light struck on War & Leisure—a thorough exploration of self, which is exactly how Miguel wants it to be. "It's about pushing forward and being who you are," he meditates on the album's true philosophical center. "The intention is to stay upbeat and positive in the face of everything. I'm standing in the middle, just like everyone else is, looking out—just wanting to maintain a positive outlook and continue with my way of life, all the while being mindful about what's really happening." "The best thing we can do is continue fighting our own personal wars that we have to deal with every day," he continues. "The more we do it, the more natural it becomes and the more likely we're able to share that energy with each other." And there's no better soundtrack for the battles we fight every day—in hopes of bringing us closer together— than War & Leisure.

Mariah the Scientist

Mariah The Scientist is a singer-songwriter from Atlanta, GA, whose 2025 single “Burning Blue” has accounted for one of the biggest R&B hits of the year. The Top 25 single on the Billboard Hot 100 earned no. 1 spots on the Billboard Rhythmic Airplay and Mainstream R&B/Hip Hop charts and earned Mariah the fifth RIAA Gold plaque of her career. Her latest album, HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY, released in the summer of 2025, is her biggest and most influential work to date, powered by “Burning Blue” and the album’s second Hot 100 hit, “Is It a Crime?” featuring Kali Uchis. Mariah’s critically-acclaimed fourth studio album debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and no. 11 on the Billboard 200 during the first week of release, earning the new project the distinction of being the highest debut on either chart in her career. Release week also marked three hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100 for the album including “Burning Blue,” “Is It a Crime?,” and “Sacrifice.” “I’m dead serious about this love sh*t,” the singer says about the vulnerable songwriting that has themed her career. Mariah began building her loyal following with a four-song EP, To Die For, released to Soundcloud in 2018. Two EPs and two studio albums later, she established herself as a bonafide R&B star with the 2024 release of her critically-acclaimed third studio album, To Be Eaten Alive, her first full-length solo project released via Epic Records. The resulting To Be Eaten Alive World Tour and career highlights, which included co-signs from Rihanna and an induction into The Recording Academy’s 2025 New Membership Class, indicated the new heights her HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY era has pushed her to reach.

Bob Moses

Bob Moses, the Vancouver-bred duo consisting of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, came to life in the Brooklyn underground scene in 2012. Early single releases on taste-making electronic label Scissor & Thread led to signing with Domino and the late 2015 release of their debut album Days Gone By.   Meshing guitar licks, a moody smolder and a dash of dance-floor ambience with lyrical depth and classic songwriting, the duo created a sound that appeals equally to club goers and rock music fans.  Translating their sound seamlessly to the live performance realm, years of nonstop global touring - including appearances at every major festival from Glastonbury and Coachella, to Lollapalooza and beyond - cemented the duo’s live reputation and repeated recognition as Resident Advisor’s Best Live Act.  A standout performance on The Ellen Show, a pair of nominations at both the Junos and the Grammys (and a Grammy win), and a top 15 US Alternative radio hit with "Tearing Me Up,” have further sealed the band’s burgeoning mainstream success.   2018’s Battle Lines, met with praise upon release, found the duo expanding their sonic palette, embracing their most inventive instincts and infusing their lyrics with a more outward-looking perspective and was named one of Billboard’s “Best Electronic Albums of 2018.”    In 2020 with the world in quarantine, Bob Moses doubled down by releasing Desire, the continuously mixed “concept album for the club” featuring the hit title-track collaboration with ZHU, and by staying connected with fans through weekly livestreamed sets dubbed the “BobCast,” numerous virtual festival appearances, and via their own epic concert film Falling into Focus and its accompanying live album.  2021 sees the band continuing their momentum with their first Cercle set live from Los Angeles’ Griffith Observatory and new music on the way.
