Opening for iconic acts such as Styx, Collective Soul, and Sammy Hagar was an opportunity where these southern boys triumphed at every turn, earning new fans and standing ovations night after night. In fact, Jet Black Roses earned the spot to open for the iconic Styx on their upcoming East Coast Tour Fall 2024, with more tour dates to be announced. Due to fan demand, Jet Black Roses finally releases their much-anticipated debut single and video, “King of Fools,” which tells the story of a man down on his luck who keeps making poor decisions in an attempt to better his situation. “King of Fools” is a spirited rock anthem about living in the moment and making questionable choices. Recorded at Treesound Studios in Atlanta, the band captured the song in one take, preserving the raw energy of their live performance. A fortuitous connection led the Bentley brothers to Tyler when they needed a guitarist. The instantaneous chemistry between them sparked prolific songwriting and jam sessions. “We’ve been driven by our love for music for as long as we can remember, and we firmly believe it’s in our blood,” Trey asserts. “Our bond with Tyler feels as strong as family. We couldn’t be any closer if we were blood related.” “The affection and synergy we share are reflected in our music.” Trey, Andrew, and Tyler have an undeniable songwriting and vocal chemistry, and their artistry shines through their heartfelt lyrics and emotional delivery. They’ve crafted a distinct sound by writing all of the songs on their upcoming debut album with veteran producer and engineer Greg Archilla, known for his work with Collective Soul, Matchbox Twenty, Neil Young, and many others.
