About event

With a warm vocal cut from the woods of the Pacific Northwest and an easy instinct for modern grooves, Tucker Wetmore has emerged as one of country’s most dynamic new stars. An ACM and CMA Awards-nominated singer-songwriter and headline performer who has already surpassed 1 billion career streams, the chart-topper has taken just a few years to leave a lasting mark. Raised in Kalama, Washington, the piano-playing student of country, rock, reggae and more wrote his first song after a college football injury, reaching Nashville in 2020. Kicking off his career with back-to-back Platinum “Wine Into Whiskey” and 2x Platinum debut No. 1 “Wind Up Missin’ You,” Wetmore landed on Billboard’s all genre Hot 100 in 2024 with both tracks, showcasing a serene, sawtoothed-country buzz. After two features on the Twisters soundtrack, his first Grand Ole Opry appearance and a sold-out headline tour debut, Wetmore released his debut album What Not To to wide acclaim in 2025, wrapping hard-won life lessons in laid-back singalongs, and soul-scouring balladry. Already a veteran of major tours alongside Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Jordan Davis and more, Wetmore spent this summer on the road with superstar Thomas Rhett, following his first headlining shows across the U.S., U.K. and Europe. He’ll return to the highway for festival and headline dates across the U.S. this fall as he remains a standout “one to watch” by Billboard, MusicRow, VEVO, Spotify and the Opry.

Having notched back-to-back spots on Billboard's Hot 100 with his debut singles “Wine Into Whiskey” and “Wind Up Missin' You,” as he clocks in over a quarter of a billion streams in four months, Washington-born singer-songwriter Tucker Wetmore is well on the way to becoming one of 2024’s certified breakout Country stars. Wetmore brought his music directly to the fans when he hit the road earlier this year on Kameron Marlowe's Strangers Tour; this fall, he joins Luke Bryan on the Country superstar’s FARM TOUR 2024. Already making his mark on Country radio, Wetmore is currently climbing the airplay charts with “Wind Up Missin' You.” Recently named Billboard's May Country Rookie of the Month, Wetmore is carving a path of his own in the Country world: the 24-year-old’s songs reflect his cross-genre musical upbringing, embracing all manners of Country, reggae, rock and hip-hop, albeit anchored by classic Country storytelling.   “The past five months have been some of the craziest of my entire life. My entire life has changed.  I can’t really even put it into words,” Wetmore says of his meteoric 2024.   Wetmore signed a major-label record deal this summer with UMG Nashville in partnership with Back Blocks Music, recently dropped a fiery new single, “What Would You Do?,” will have two songs featured on the star-studded soundtrack of “Twisters” (“Already Had It” and “Steal My Thunder” (with Conner Smith) and is setting his sights on releasing his debut project in early 2025.   “Everything’s moving super swiftly,” Wetmore says. “So just being happy is my goal. And giving myself time to sit back and think about all the blessings God has been giving me every time I open my eyes in the morning.” Wetmore pauses and smiles. “Yup, it’s safe to say I’m very blessed.”
